Andrew is the owner of Second Nature Outdoors and has been managing the Small Craft Aquatic Center and its many programs since 2011. As an outdoor educator, Andrew enjoys teaching canoe and kayak Paddle Canada courses as well as Wilderness First Aid. For over 10 years Andrew has worked in the summer camping industry, developing and delivering programs to children and youth. He has spent time working for camps in New Brunswick including Camp Glenburn and Partners for Youth. Outside of NB, Andrew has also worked at the Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation, Strathcona Park Lodge and Wendigo Lake Expeditions.
Andrew is a graduate of NBCC Saint Andrews Adventure Recreation program and the University of New Brunswick Recreation and Sport Studies Program. When the opportunity arose for Andrew to start his own business doing what he loves, he dove in head first. Focused on all ages but with an emphasis on educating youth, his goal is to educate and promote the outdoors and the many ways in which we can get out and enjoy our “second nature”. Andrew spends the fall and winter months working for Crabbe Mountain as the Sales and Marketing Manager.
